Last summer, the first phases of the 10-year master plan broke ground, kicking off $135 million in major resort improvements to take place over the next two years. “We are zeroing in on wrapping up the first phase of our “Full Steam Ahead project,” says Maren Franciosi, Communications Manager for Steamboat Mountain Resort. “The work that was completed this summer will make way for the future.” The project broke ground last April when the gondola and snow sports school buildings were demolished to make way for an après ski plaza, new restaurants and bars, a new ski beach and ice rink, and an improved arrival experience. “This summer, we officially broke…

Since its inception in 2017, the SSIR Community Fund has contributed more than $99,000 to 53 different organizations and programs. Established in collaboration with the Yampa Valley Community Foundation, the fund was created as a way for Steamboat Sotheby’s Realty brokers and staff to collectively contribute and make a meaningful impact in Steamboat Springs and Routt County. HOWELSEN HILL 2021/22 PASSES AVAILABLE & DEBUT OF NEW CHAIRLIFT

The ski area, which will be open to the public seven days a week, will open November 27th through April 3rd. Lift tickets are free on Sundays, a local’s favorite activity and a nice change from skiing at Steamboat Resort. Howelsen will debut its new three-person, high-speed chairlift, which has replaced the old Barrows lift thanks to a partnership with The VF Foundation, the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club, and the City of Steamboat Springs.
