Since its inception in 2017, the SSIR Community Fund has contributed more than $105,000 to 97 different programs and organizations. Established in collaboration with the Yampa Valley Community Foundation, the fund was created as a way for Steamboat Sotheby’s Realty brokers and staff to collectively contribute and make a meaningful impact in Steamboat Springs and Routt County. by steamboatsir | Aug 31, 2022 Steamboat Sotheby’s Community Fund is Accepting Applications for its Fall 2022 Grant Cycle Steamboat Sotheby’s is accepting applications for the Fall 2022 grant cycle through October 1st with grants awarded by November 30th. SSIR Brokers, owners, and staff collectively participate in the fund, which has awarded over $100,000 to 97 non-profit organizations in Routt County since its inception in 2017. The Steamboat Sotheby’s Community Fund was established to support local non-profit organizations through a collective funding and semi-annual granting process. Recently, the map was completed and approved with three zones – green, red, and yellow – which regulate how STRs will be available going forward. The next step which was recently approved in a second reading of the ordinance is an additional 9% tax on STRs. This will appear on ballots this fall, falling in the hands of the voters.
